The fabric is a thicker polyester blend, but in a good way. It feels durable and wear-resistant, which is important in our house with young kids and two dogs. It still feels soft and comfortable, and I like that everything is machine washable.

The gray color especially hides everyday life well — pets, snacks, blankets tossed everywhere, all the normal chaos. The material also feels durable enough that I’m not nervous every time someone sits down with coffee in their hand. Big win there. I absolutely love that this stays in place and doesn’t bunch up either.
Another thing I appreciated was that it didn’t have that weird stiff or scratchy feeling some replacement covers have. It actually feels comfortable to sit on for long movie nights and accidental couch naps. And yes… those “I’ll just rest my eyes for five minutes” naps absolutely happened.
